The 1st ACA (Acupuncture Corporation of America) board meeting

 

The 1st ACA (Acupuncture Corporation of America) board meeting was held in New York. Dr. Yanzhu Liu, Professor Lipin Zheng, Lu Han MD, Dr. Zhenghua Liu and Dr. Quansheng Lu were elected to the board of ACA. Dr. Yanzhu Liu was passed unanimously to be the first president of the first ACA board. All shareholders attended the meeting and subscribe 1.5M Initial share. It paves the way for ACA’s healthy and rapid development due to a good solid foundation.   Acupuncture has been around for more than 2,000 years in the history of China but acupuncture has been in America for only about 40 years. The last century, in the 1970’s, which President Nixon visited China and brought back the news of acupuncture anesthesia, acupuncture became known in America. Acupuncture has been developing rapidly.  More and more people are now involved acupuncture field.  According to the national endowment (American acupuncture foundations) statistics, there are 22,671 L. Ac in the whole country in 2004 and there are now 40,000 L. Ac in the United States. According to the 2002 poll 4% of American adults have had acupuncture treatment. In 2007, there were about 3,170,000 people who had tried acupuncture, the total number of treatments reached about 17,620,000. People have payed $823,000,000 out of their pockets for acupuncture at an average cost is $47 per treatment. Some areas charge more than $100 for each treatment. There 4% to 10% of the population of America currently has acupuncture done and the satisfaction rate is up to 86%. As acupuncture became more popular, more and more insurance companies started covering acupuncture treatments. It has been predicted that in 5 to 10 years the acupuncture field will grow immensely. A high quality acupuncture alliance will be pioneer in this field; that is ACA (Acupuncture Corporation of America). A group of colleagues who had a common goal who also graduate from Beijing University of TCM gathered together. Their mission and responsibility is to spread Chinese medicine across the world to the benefit all the peoples of the world. Their decision is to establish the first high quality and high level Chinese medicine Care Corporation. ACA started discussing, planning and designing in August 2014. In the past 8 months, everyone in ACA has been involved and working toward its development while at the same time sharing the same dream and the same goal.

 

 This 1st meeting to establish ACA was very succeeded:  declared the ACA founded; discussed the corporate culture, planed for training, direction for development, department management, and corporation’s present and future project etc. the accountant, lawyer, and business plan writer also gave lectures at the conference.    We proposed “Be thankful, Together we win   “as ACA slogan.  ACA now concentrates on perfecting training and operating system. And the next step is to own 300 to 500 clinics in the next 3-5 years and launch of ACA.
